We are different in a lot of ways.
Our role in the Wichita community is to help women confidently navigate unplanned pregnancy through free pregnancy confirmation services, peer counseling, resources, and education.
More importantly, our relationship doesn't have to end after one appointment.
We believe women deserve support before, during, and after pregnancy. That's why we offer ongoing resources for all options, like parenting classes, baby supplies, community referrals, and post-abortion support.
As a community-funded nonprofit, our priority is to support you, not to profit from your decision.
We're here to provide honest information, practical resources, and a community of women who are ready to walk alongside you for as long as you need us.
-
We are independent by design, and don’t profit from your next step or steer you toward a provider.
Because of that, we do not provide or refer for abortions, prescribe medication, provide birth control, IUDs, or provide preventative women's exams. These services are not within our center's scope.
Our services are specifically designed to be valuable to those who are planning or considering abortion.
Our goal is for you to feel confident in making the decision that's right for you and better understand what comes next.
-
You'll be able to:
- Get essential confirmation services for free. We provide testing and same-day ultrasounds at no cost.
- One-on-one time with a nurse. We prioritize in-person, unrushed appointments so you don't have to sacrifice getting everything you need.
- Receive care without pressure. Because we're community-funded, we don't profit from your decision or any medical procedure.
- You're more than your pregnancy. We take time to understand your health, emotions, and unique circumstances, not just your pregnancy.
- Access ongoing support. If you need practical resources or someone to talk to, we're here before and after your appointment.

Before an abortion, an ultrasound can answer three important questions:
How far along am I?
Gestational age can affect your options and what to expect. Is the pregnancy progressing?
Not every pregnancy develops normally. An ultrasound can identify concerns that may require emergency medical care.Is the pregnancy in the right location?
An ultrasound can help identify an ectopic pregnancy, which requires different medical care and cannot be treated with abortion pills. -
Not every abortion provider has the same medical credentials, experience, or approach to patient care. Before moving forward, it's okay to pause and ask questions so you understand exactly what to expect.
Some of the most important questions include:
- Does your doctor have admitting rights to your local hospital in case of complications?
- Who will be providing my care, and what are their medical qualifications?
- What should you do if the abortion fails or the doctor fails to remove all fetal tissue?
During your appointment, we'll walk through a more comprehensive list of questions you may want to ask.
